Rehash Trash workshop is the Green Gecko project’s new social enterprise which provides job for unemployed Cambodian women whilst also helping clean up the Cambodian environment (especially in Siem Reap town) by turning useless plastic into useful products. This project not only brings happiness to families through better, cleaner and more sustainable environment, but it also shows Cambodian people and the World how to reuse useless plastics rather than throwing them away.

All the products are made from plastics collected from local markets, hotels/guesthouses, along the streets in town and from others different places around Siem Reap town. After collecting plastics of different colours and sizes from everywhere, they bring them to wash, dry and make them tidy before cutting in them into a variety of different shapes.

These are then transformed into different items including basket, bags, drinks mats, table mats, tissue boxes, pen holders etc. These beautiful recycle plastic is sold at Rehash workshop store, at Made in Cambodia Market, at any Green Gecko partner shop and night market.
