Wildlife Policy

Khiri Campus is committed to protecting wildlife and preventing their extinction. We don’t promote activities that exploit or harm animals, whether wild or captive. We carefully assess our service and activity providers and only choose partners who prioritize animal welfare.

This Wildlife Policy is a guiding principle for all Khiri Campus products and is a key factor when evaluating wildlife tourism suppliers.

The Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare
Khiri Campus adheres to the internationally recognized Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare, which ensure humane treatment for all living beings:

  1. Freedom from Hunger and Thirst: Animals have easy access to fresh water and a diet that meets their nutritional needs for optimal health and well-being.
  2. Freedom from Discomfort: Animals have a nurturing environment with proper shelter and comfortable resting areas.
  3. Freedom from Pain, Injury, or Disease: Animals receive routine health checks, and any injuries or illnesses are promptly diagnosed and treated.
  4. Freedom to Express Normal Behavior: Animals have sufficient space, proper facilities, and the company of their own kind to engage in natural behaviors.
  5. Freedom from Fear and Distress: Animals are provided with living conditions and treatment that minimize fear and mental suffering.
